Henry Whiting commissioned this piece for his home at Teater's Knoll. Teater's Knoll is the only Frank Lloyd Wright building in Idaho, and the only artist studio, other than his own, that was ever built. There was a coffee table designed for the house, but it's proportions, we concluded, were not right for the house's current uses. This is an adaptation that we feel is fully faithful to the original drawing. What an honor it is to collaborate with Henry again, his devotion to design is apparent in everything he does.
